The indication systems monitor some of the important engine conditions.

These are:

• Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR).
• Low Rotor Speed (N1) shown as percentage of RPM.
• High Rotor Speed (N2) shown as percentage of RPM.
• Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) 'C.
• Fuel Flow Rate Thousands per hour in lb/hr or kg/hr, some aircraft fuel used.
• Oil Temperature 'C.
• Oil Pressure (PSI) also low oil pressure light.
• Oil Quantity in quarts, gallons or litres.
• There was a provision for engine vibration but these have been removed from most if not all aircraft.
